Where can I buy large sheets of plastic?

At least 80cm x 50cm and quite strong. I have spent hours googling but they all seem to be so expensive. I have tried the large DIY stores online too but can't find any. I'd prefer to buy locally from the West Midlands to save on p+p.

Thanks :)Where can I buy large sheets of plastic?

Try any home improvement store, a hardware or paint supplies store.

10 or 20mil sheet plastic should come in 100 cm wide continuous rolls and you should be able to get it by the meter inexpensively at a hardware or nursery.

I know here (California) I can get it easily in different weights in 6, 10 and 20 foot widths (10 feet is about 300 cm); 10 mil for about half a US dollar per yard (3 feet, 91cm). It is also available prepackaged as 'drop cloth' for keeping flooring clean when painting.

Good luck.
you can buy large sheets of plastic on twenga for DIY or whatever handy work you need it for.
How about these: http://www.everythinglink.com/productlis鈥?/a> . You should get a few sheets out of one board if you can cut it. I usually use a carpentry blade but takes a while.

Good Luck

A glazier will handle sheet acrylic and polycarbonate in the required sizes.
